Our Story
Officially launched in 2019 and founded by all-around artist Thierry Dejean, ArtSpot403 in partnership with Rolando Cabanillas and Joe Wesley is the place to be for all things creative.
This story all started with the remarkable journey of Thierry Dejean, a prodigious talent whose roots are deeply embedded in the vibrant culture of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, though he flourished amidst the bustling creativity of New York City. From the tender moments of his childhood, Thierry was enchanted by the melodies of the piano, a relationship that would evolve into a lifelong companionship. His musical odyssey saw him blend seamlessly with the rhythm and soul of various local and regional bands, where his adeptness at the keyboards became a testament to his innate musicality. Thierry's artistic thirst led him to explore the realms of composition, production, and arrangement, lending his visionary touch to both emerging and established talents across a spectrum of musical genres.
Beyond the confines of the studio, Thierry Dejean's legacy was further enriched through his collaborations and performances with a constellation of musical luminaries and groups, spanning genres and geographies. His work has been showcased in an impressive array of projects, including but not limited to the pioneering 'D'Jazz Compilation Vol.1: R&B for the New Millennium,' and the collaborative efforts with artists such as Angela Shella and Natasha Williams, among others.
His musical journey did not just confine him within the borders of the United States but propelled him onto international stages, allowing him to share his music in countries like Spain, Italy, and Jamaica, to name a few. In a significant turn of events, Thierry relocated to Miami in 2005, where he ventured into new creative territories by opening STUDIO 504 Miami, a rehearsal and recording studio, and later ArtSpot403, a photography studio, in 2019. This transition from performer to entrepreneur underscores Thierry's enduring commitment to nurturing and innovating within the arts, marking him as a multifaceted artist whose impact resonates far beyond the notes and chords of his musical beginnings.
